Guest Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 I have just started in an independent school- I have used e profile in state schools and want to use it here. Where do I get it from? Thanks
Guest Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Or your local early years folks..... advisors, mentors etc
Guest Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 The software can be downloaded from the Suffolk CC site at http://schoolsportal.suffolkcc.gov.uk/schools/FSP/ However, being in an independent school there is, I suspect, no support available. In theory the eyeProfile is only supposed to be used in LAs where there is support available. I wonder how many schools are using it without any LA support??? Regards John R
Jackie H Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Why would you suspect that there is no support available to independent schools. We have excellent eyfs support from NYCC. However after this morning visit we were told that now we are on level one support, she certainly didnt need to visit again for a while! Every thing was in order.
Guest Posted October 10, 2008 Posted October 10, 2008 Well said jackie, we too have excellent support, and have a wonderful early years advisor who offers support to all early years settings and yes amazingly the eprofile is available to us too! jackie
Guest Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 One of my friends in an independent school had problems as she didn't have UPNs for her children. After a variety of calls she managed to get her LA advsier who recommended she ask the LA management information service to allocate UPNs and all is now well.
