Good Evening everyone,

I wonder if anyone can clarify something for me - we have ofsted looming and we are all getting a little jittery. Can I ask have schools got risk assessments in place for the indoor and outdoor environments ( eg everything that a child comes into contact with that poses a hazard or risk) as per the statutory requirements of EYFS?

would like to hear if you have and what it looks like!!

thanks very much

Jo :o

WE have one in place, put I don't do it. Head and health and safety gov do it and update it regularly. If you are a school then you should probably have one anyway.

I agree with Bethie that in school you should not have to do it.

In ours the H & S person does the whole school.......... no class teacher does their own!
