Reception To Year 1 Transition

Hello everyone

 

I moved to a school in special measures and have had HMI and PER in...they are now due in November now!!!

 

I am in year 1 next year. It's 2 form entry and we have an open plan class which is planned to be opened up. We have no Med term plans at mo and are following the QCA (I find it boring!!)!!! The plan is to follow LCP in P.E and ICT and Star in science and we follow ERR(Early Reading Research) in Litercay. It has gone really well in Reception in our school this year so starting in Yr1 next year....will learrn more about this in Sept!!!

 

The plan is to be like reception in first term but the whole year to have it opened up. I can't get my head around it at mo. How does anyone else teach it?? Autumn term will follow the topic of ourselves!!!
