surfer Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Can anyone answer my question? With the introduction of the EYFS are settings going to be inspected against the 5 ECM outcomes or against the four themes in the EYFS? The current inspections are against the ECM outcomes - are they likely to change?
Andreamay Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 the welfare requirements are the nat standards and we wil be inspected against the 5 outcomes.
Guest Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I would think from September it will be the EYFS as that becomes Statutory so up till then I think they are looking at people to be bringing it in and to be ready for September. I'm sure some one on here will give you some more ideas. I have a meeting with an inspector on the 14th so will find out myself what they want.
Guest jane707 Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 I asked an inspector this question recently and as yet there is no definitive answer
Guest Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 When I asked at my EYFS training, we were led to believe that ofsted inspectors training hasn't started yet but they will be fully trained by Sept!!!
Guest Wolfie Posted July 3, 2008 Posted July 3, 2008 I'm fairly confident that it will still be the ECM outcomes.
