Equality Policies

Have been asked to write a race equalities policy and a disability equalities policy. Does anyone already have either of these? It would be really helpful to see someone elses as a starting point. Many thanks.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I haven't been on the forum for a couple of days so I'm sorry that I haven't replied sooner. I have an Equal Opportunities Policy from my old playgroup which you are quite welcome to look at.

Hi, I dont know whether you are in a setting which is covered by eyfs. If you are there is reference within the statutory guidance (page 25) to what should be included in an equality and diversity policy.

 

Its very useful information but I suspect will mean a lot of settings will have to revamp their current equality and diversity policies as it requires more information in a lot more detail
