surfer Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 When working at a previous setting we had an artist come in who made papier mache using sugar paper, PVA glue and water. The pulp could be moulded into different shapes and the children can press items into it similar to playdough or clay. I can't remember if there was anything else in the recipe and what the quantities were (if any). Has anyone ever done this who can give me some tips? Thanks
Beau Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 When I have done it in the past I think I have used roughly 2 parts PVA to 1 of water but this is not something I have measured out precisely, just roughly mixed together!! I don't think it has to be exact......... I certainly have never put anything else in it.
