Guest Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Can you help? A while ago I read an article in an educational magazine(!) about encouraging children to mark-make. It suggested using the books: 'Angel Pavement' by Quetin Blake; 'the dot' by Peter H. Reynolds; 'Gregory and the magic line' by Dawn Piggot; and 'The shape game' by Anthony Browne. I vaguely remember the article mentioning activities to do using the stories. However, I cannot find the article and would like to use the books with my boys who aren't the most confident mark-makers! Can anyone remember the article and if so where can I find it?
Guest Wolfie Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 I'm reviving this post because I too need some stuff on mark-making now...does anyone remember the article??
Guest Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 http://www.early-education.org.uk/pdf/EE_mark.pdf Is this any good to start you off on your search for material?
Jo A Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 There was an article in Early Years Educator about 12 months ago - will have a look in my pile of magazines and let you know
