I;ve been searching through the forum posts looking for any help on writing a supporting statement. Have written one before whilst I was still at college but need to update it as I have been teaching for almost 3 years now. Could someone point me in the right direction or give some advice? Have already missed an opportunity because I am struggling with this! Thanks in advance! Need help particularly as to the best way to start it, what to put in and in what order! Guest Posted February 3, 2008 Share Posted February 3, 2008 I'd tackle it by referring to the job description/advert and explain how you fit the bill for their post. You could also make reference to/thank school for any visit you have made and comment positively on something you have seen, also go through website and latest ofsted report for any other points you could add.
