Spring 2 i normally do plants and animals, but in the 41/2 term i want to really develop our farm visit. Am thinking about doing thisngs such as visiting the supermarket to see where food 'really' comes from- any other great suggestions to build this topic on. Guest Wolfie Posted January 14, 2008 Share Posted January 14, 2008 Several of the big supermarkets welcome school/nursery visits now - it might be worth contacting them to see what they could offer you? I took a group of nursery children to Asda once and they had a whale of a time, creating their own pizzas to take home, exploring the fruit and veg, looking for things on their shopping lists, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
