Job Descriptions

As we return for a new year and term our staffing situation has changed......joint supervisor has returned from maternity leave to step down to deputy working 2 days a week...another lady has been taken on to 'job share' and do the 3 other days.

I would like to give all members of staff at our next meeting a job description showing their roles and responsibilities....i have done a search on here but can't seem to find anything!!!

This is a list of the staff and job titles that I would like to have descriptions for::::

Supervisor

Deputy

Senior assistant

Nursery assistant

I've probably got mine somewhere(?!)but can't put my hand on it

Anyone help please

Here's some to get you started -you can always use them as a starting point....

You could always ask them to write their own job descriptions, as they see it, and go from there. :(:o

Hmmm, be interesting to see what they would write. xD

Food for thought there peggy....I agree it would be quite interesting to see!

I have used Wolfie ones and adapted as necessary, staff haven't had them yet. Have a staff meeting soon so I might get them to write down the main points they believe to be in their job description and then see if my one's are the same xD

As our last appraisal approached we were given the existing job descriptions and invited to alter or add to them before the appraisal which seemed to work well. Jobs do develop and grow according to individual and team strengths and weaknesses.
