Guest
My friend has an interview coming up for an early years PGCE course and I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas what kind of questions she may be asked, or any other worth while tips that may help? Cheers
Lucie
I was asked about my strengths and weaknesses relating personally and to the curriculum content. I was also asked about including children with EAL, and asked to discuss with the interviewer about two different issues in early years or primary ed at the moment. does that help? lucie x
Guest
Hi, I had an interview for a pgce in early years for Bath Spa and got accepted (providing I get the grades). That involved a maths test (fairly ok but I know some people practiced on the gcse bitesize site), a writing test on my vision of an effective teacher (this was marked on spelling, punctuation and also gave interviewers more info on me), we were then split up into groups of 4 and had a group interview, which involved skim reading an article for certain time and relaying back to group main points as well as talking about photos of children at play, which brought up lots of issues. From what I have heard though all interviews are different so it depends what the university is looking for, hope that helped!! and wish your friend Good Luck from me!
