Guest
Hi there, we have changed our topics and next term we are beginning a new topic called Superheroes. I very much leave my planning flexible and see how it evolves with the children, but just wondered if anyone has any ideas? I was thinking of beginning it with looking at superheroes we know in our family, at work ( e.g. firefighters etc) and then look at other well known superheroes. Some ideas would be welcomed to get the old brain working!! thanks
Guest
Hi Lotte, I've been thinking about this as with a boy heavy class I think it would go down really well. Saw the link below on tes not long ago. Haven't looked at it very carefully just yet but it may be of use. Good luck. http://www.tes.co.uk/resources/Resource.aspx?resourceId=8937
Guest
Hi, I did super heroes last term based on a book called Traction Man. It is a tongue in cheek version of action man. The children loved it and got come super writing and freeze frame animation out of it. Take a look at this link. http://www.randomhouse.com/kids/tractionman/
Alison
link it to senses so many super heros have extra sensory powers e.g. they could pretend they have super ears for listening games super fingers for feely games super eyes for examining things hope that helps
