BenTapestrySupport Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 This tutorial will take you through the steps needed to create and print labels using Tapestry. Please note that to create labels, you will need to be logged into the browser version of Tapestry and not on the app. The Name Labels feature will allow you to create labels to print either 80mm x 50mm labels (2 columns, 10 per sheet), or Drawer labels that are 177mm x 40mm (5 per sheet). It is possible to create labels for both active and enrolling children, which will allow you to get your classroom ready for when your new intake arrives. You will be able to create labels from the 'Children' tab (1). Just tick the box to select the children you want to create a label for (2). If you want to print for all children then you can choose 'All' from the 'Select Items' drop-down (3) which will tick every box on that page. The default is to show up to 12 children per page, but you can select either 12, 24, 48 or all children per page (4) If you change this, you'll need to repeat (3). You can also use filters to select specific groups if necessary (5). When you're ready, the option will be set to 'Print name labels' by default so just click 'Go' (6). Note that this screen will only show you your active children. If you wish to create name labels for enrolling children you will need to use the filter & sort bar (1) and then filter the 'status' by 'enrolling' (2) and submit (3) the specifications. Once you have selected at least one child, you will see a box appear at the bottom right corner, that shows how many children have been selected, and that you can print name labels for them (3). Selecting 'Go' will take you to the following page: From this page, you are now able to choose the type of label that you wish to create.
