I am looking for simple ideas for a Mothers Day present that will appeal to boys who are not overly keen on crafts usually and easy enough for 2 1/2 year olds to do too! Any ideas anyone?

We are doing a tea pot shaped card, decorated by the children, with a tea bag stapled in side.
For pressies we have done a hand print and a poem about children growing fast. we have laminated them and they look lovely.

Any ideas for older (Reception) children? my boys are not very interested in arts and crafts either.

We have taken photographs of the children and had them draw a picture of themselves. We then backed them and mounted them in CD cases. We have also had them draw a picture of their mummies, A4 size, and laminated them. These went down very well. In fact I think we will do them again this year. Our card this time is going to be a very simple glittery collage-lots of glue and mess!

How about making some chocolates or sweets for their Mums? Or using clay to make a tealight holder? Or using a yoghurt pot to plant a sunflower seed for their Mums to enjoy?
