Hi Neysa
Walking through the jungle is a good one as you can incorporate any animals you want.
Five cheeky monkeys swinging in the trees teasing the crocodile-that is a real favourite of our children.
I went to visit a zoo one day-again you can use any animal you choose.
I have some more but I will have to look at work tomorrow.

Do you need all the animals in one song? If not here are a few immediate thoughts ... We went to the animal fair. Daddy's taking us to the zoo tomorrow. Never smile at a crocodile. Nellie the elephant. The animals went in 2 by 2. (One elephant went out to play. Five little monkeys jumping on the bed.)

I'm sure there are LOADS more.

Another one is sung to the tune of one finger, one thumb keep moving. The words are
A crocodile's very snappy
A crocodile's very snappy
A crocodile's very snappy
He couldn't be anything else.
You can add as many animals as you want and either use the sounds they make or an action-a snake can be either hisssssy or slithery.

I Know it's not one of your animals, but..................

The hippo, hippopotamus
Can do more than the lot of us
He can stay (so they say) .................... [everyone holds their nose]
Under the water for a half a day.

Repeat to your heart's content!!!

Again not one of your animals but a favourite of ours:Alice the Camel

Alice the camel has five humps (repeat three times)

So go Alice go.

Each verse one less until

Alice the camel has no humps (3 times)

For Alice is a horse! (spoken)

Tune: Dem bones, dem bones.

One elephant went out to play
Upon a spider's web one day
He found it such enormous fun
That he called for another elephant to come :)

We start with one child, and then s/he chooses the next, and so on; great for counting....."So how many have we got now?"

'One little elephant went balancing, step by step on a piece of string, he thought it was such tremendous fun he called for another one to come along.'
Children walk one foot in front of other arms out at sides to balance.

'Hi said the elephant look at me (use arm as trunk and point to yourself)
I have a long trunk - can't you see (wave arm trunk about)
It's an arm, it's a leg, it's a hand, it's a nose
It pulls, and it pushes and it huffs and it blows
have you ever seen an elephants trunk so fine, have you ever seen an elephants trunk like mine.

we sang this in assembly with elephant masks on
