Hi
could anyone help me please. Can anyone tell me what a child has to be able to do to acheive a level 2 in writing. Do they have to be able to write their own name or do they have to be able to give meaning to the marks they make? thanks 0258 x

level 2? Do you mean profile point 2?

Children are like snowflakes, each one is an individual.

They don't have to write their name or any words but should be using some letter shapes in their mark making. The letters they write don't have to be correct.

Play, while it cannot change the external realities of children’s lives, can be a vehicle for children to explore and enjoy their differences and similarities and to create, even for a brief time, a more just world where everyone is an equal and valued participant.
