We have just been given some funding to enrich our curriculum. This will entail visitors coming into school. KS 2 are suggesting historical re-enactments, drama groups etc.
Has anyone had any good experiences of visitors for Foundation Stage?

What about getting in an artist? There are a few now in the West Midlands that have been trained in the Reggio approach and are producing some exciting stuff in Nursery and Reception classes.

Liza
That sounds like a great idea, if you have any idea where I can get any more info. I would be grateful.
Thanks Magenta

Dear Magenta

We had the local fire brigade come and visit.

They brought an engine and gave some of the children a ride around the block. Water was squirted about to the delight of the children.

All those lovely firemen in their uniforms, not sure who enjoyed it more, the staff or the children :o

Sue
You know the only people who are always sure about the proper way to raise children? Those who've never had any.
