:) Has anyone used artists' work with children in nursery or reception?

I have to lead, well actually I offered to do, a twilight INSET on using artists with children. This is fine and I use them a lot, but I have to cover a range of Key Stages 1 - 3 and being a Special School our first class is more like a nursery class. Being as you're such a friendly lot, I thought you may be able to help!
Many thanks :o

Hi Kate,
We've used artists' work in the nursery, mainly to pick out an element such as wavy lines, shading, colour mixing, shapes, etc. If you type "art online" into your search engine, you'll get stacks of resources from which to choose. Also GLS on www.glsed.co.uk produce sets of prints for school-based work. Hope this helps :o
