New Articles and Guides to Support your CPD

This month brings a new Beginner’s Guide and two new articles to our Tapestry site.

The Beginner’s Guide for Establishing Meaningful Relationships with Families, written by Jaziea Farag, is a free document to help childminders, nurseries and schools engage in important conversations about meaningful relationships with families. You can download the guide here.

Winsome Duncan, book confidence coach and bestselling author, has written an article about Amplifying Young Voices in UK Children’s Literature. Read the full article here.

And Sarah Sudea – founder of Finding the Flex – has written a piece about improving wellbeing in your school by adopting a more flexible approach. Read the article here.

New Tapestry CPD Courses

It’s been a busy month for our CPD site - 3 new courses went live last month!

Firstly, we have a course titled An Introduction to Intersectionality . This is based on the Beginner’s Guide to Intersectionality in the Early Years written by Warda Farah. The CPD course version provides extra levels of engagement with helpful videos and tasks. Enrol on the course here.

We also have two new courses specifically about Tapestry features:

Tapestry Reflections and Reflective Practice shows you the ins and outs of the Reflections feature and discusses reflective practice more generally.

And Activities on Tapestry teaches you everything you need to know about the Activities feature.

An Invitation to join the Tapestry Support Group

If you’re a Facebook user this one is for you! Ben, who is one of our Education Team members and founder of the Tapestry Support Group (TSG), would like to invite you to join this supportive group. The TSG is an excellent space to stay up to date and get help from the community. You can join here.

BusinessCloud’s Edtech 50

We’re delighted to announce that for the third year in a row Tapestry has been shortlisted for BusinessCloud’s Edtech 50 - an annual ranking which celebrates the UK’s most innovative startups, scaleups and established firms creating original technology for education and workplace development.

We’d like to extend a humble thank you to anyone who voted for us. The final 50 will be published on the BusinessCloud’s website on February 12th.
