Hi Weavers,

We hope those of you that had half term this month enjoyed your break! As ever we have been busy at Tapestry working hard to add new features and improve all the existing ones.

Two new additions to the Care Diary

This month we have added two new additions to the Care Diary; a communication tool between staff and relatives, and an accident form feature.

The communication tool will allow staff and relatives to send messages to each other regarding a child’s well-being and care, and the accident form will allow you to record any accidents or incidents a child has had in the day. The accident form also includes the ability to record a parent’s signature electronically! You can find tutorials which will talk you through how to access and use these new features in the ‘Getting Started with Tapestry’ section on our tutorials page. We hope you find these two new additions helpful!

KS1 and KS2 on Tapestry – we want your feedback!

Last year we were very proud to release our updated Key Stage assessment and tracking system on to Tapestry and we are still working hard to improve the ease in which you can assess and track these frameworks within Tapestry.

If your setting has been using Tapestry to track progress for KS1 and/or KS2, we would love to hear any feedback or suggestions for improvement you have. To do this please email us on customer.service@eyfs.info.

If you are currently only using Tapestry in EYFS but would like more information on using it within KS1/KS2, take a look at this page on our website. Do feel free to email us at customer.service@eyfs.info if you have any questions, would like to set up trial or would like more information.

Webinar: ‘What to do at the end of a term’

As we are approaching the end of the term we have scheduled another one of our EYFS ‘What to do at the end of the term’ webinars, to help you with everything you might want to think about with your Tapestry account at the end of the term.

All our webinars are free to attend, and you can sign up to as many of them as you want. You can find more information about this particular webinar and you can sign up to it from this post here. To see a full list of all our upcoming webinars, you can look at our ‘Webinars’ section on the forum. Here you can find information about our scheduled webinars, sign up to the ones you wish to partake in and can also watch recordings of previous webinars we have run.

Montessori Early Childhood Conference

Next month two members of the Tapestry Product Support team will be attending the Montessori Early Childhood Conference in Brisbane, Australia! The event will be taking place across the weekend of the 17-18th March and will be filled with lots of exciting and informative workshops and lectures. If you would like more information about attending the conference you can look at the Montessori Australia website. We hope to meet some of you there.

Tapestry in Singapore

We mentioned in our newsletter last month that one of the members of our Product Support team and our Montessori advisor, Sneha, will be working for us from Singapore for a few months. She is now out in Singapore so is available to go and visit any settings who are using Tapestry, or who are thinking about using Tapestry! If you are interested in setting up a visit with Sneha, please contact us by emailing customer.service@eyfs.info.
