Review
A lovely book about a familiar problem - where to sit to read your book.We liked this because it gives lots of opportunities for children to share where their favourite reading place might be. If we were setting up a new book corner this would be a lovely story to start with so that children could share their ideas and thoughts about what they like and what would make them feel comfortable. In terms of the EYFS, this book not only encourages plenty of communication and language, it encourages discussion about books, reading and favourite stories. It also addresses some issues of PSED (British Values) as children could share their opinions about different locations and let their individual choices be known to their friends.PS. It also has gorgeous illustrations that look like they have been cut from 1950's wallpaper sample books (we like that!)
