grumpymum Posted February 19, 2016 Share Posted February 19, 2016 Have done dressing up as book characters in the past and had a "going on a bear hunt day" a couple of years ago, where we recreated the story outside (even the snow storm!) Fredbear Posted February 19, 2016 Share Posted February 19, 2016 Invite the parents/ grandparents to stay and share a storybook with their children at the beginning of a session. We are asking the local librarians to come in and share stories, song and rhymes. Might ask the children to bring in their favourite story to share too. Might also have a go at letting our older children run our book club, that could be interesting. Role play becomes a library, lots of puppets, story sacks, just the norm really. Panders Posted February 22, 2016 Share Posted February 22, 2016 had e mail answered, saying that I didnt register for this year - just don't believe it. Something really odd going on. For years no problem at all, then last year a hiccup, and now again - not a happy bunny. Doesn't say anywhere at the moment when you can register for next year's tokens either, just that it's too late for this year!! Looks like a diary entry for a month or so to remind me to look again.
