Have you see the book "Foggy Foggy Forest' by Nick Sharrat that has silhouettes of story book characters doing al sorts of crazy things. My children love it. That would take you off track slightly but a good book to display alongside what sounds like an amazing display...photos please ;-)

Hey Ho! Just spotted the date on this thread...I missed the boat lol, bet the display looks fab though :-)

I always meant to update everyone to thank you for all your help on this. I have to say (showing off a little) that it looks absolutely brilliant. It's created a really cosy little woodland home with an impact in the middle of the school. As it's an enclosed corridor it really does feel like you've walked in to a peaceful, autumn woodland.

In fact, it has had such an impact that the Art Co-ordinator and I got together and with the head's agreement are organising a couple of winter wonderland afternoons for early December so that the whole school can be involved in creating a 'Winter Woodland' scene. So I'll probably be posting on here for more brilliant ideas. Our first thoughts are involving including books/stories that have this as a setting such as 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe', 'Gruffalo's Child' and of course we'll have an appearance from Santa near Christmas!
