Converting a trial account

If you want to convert your free trial to a full account and, in doing so, keep all the information that was added onto it throughout your trial, you can do so through your Tapestry account.

Please note that your trial will not get converted until we have received and processed your payment, so do bear in mind your payment periods when requesting the trial conversion invoice. If you still have any trial extension allowance left, you can request it so you can continue using your account whilst the payment is processed.

NB: If you find your trial has expired and you haven't already completed the procedure below, then you won't be able to access Tapestry to convert. In this case, email tapestry.support@eyfs.info and we'll send you an invoice.

We'll look at how to request your trial conversion invoice first. To skip to the section on paying your invoice, click here.

First of all, log into Tapestry, click on your username, and then select 'Purchase Tapestry' in the drop down menu.

That will take you to the page shown below.

(1) Most of the fields will have been automatically filled in for you (you can edit if required), but you will need to specify which size package you would like.
(2) Add anything else you may like to tell us or enquire about.
(3) Send the request!

All trial conversion requests are sent to our customer service team, so we will process it as soon as possible. Depending on the time of the day this is sent, we will be able to process your request within hours or the next working day. Once we have received and processed your request, we will get in touch with you to let you know we have done so. We will send you detailed instructions about how you can pay your invoice and where to find it.

However, and just in case this email address is misplaced, I will explain how you can pay your invoice below:

Paying Your Invoice

We get a lot of questions about how to pay invoices for Tapestry. Hopefully this tutorial will solve most common queries.

There are a few ways you can pay your invoice:

Via the invoice notification email:

You will receive an invoice notification that will summarise your order details. You will be able to access a full copy of the invoice by clicking on the provided link (1) or by pressing on the 'View, Download or Pay this invoice' green button (2). (3) shows you your order details, so make sure that this is correct.

If you click on any of the provided links, you will be taken to the following screen:

(1) indicates your invoice status. This is currently pending (awaiting payment), but once we have received and processed your payment, this will change to paid.

(2) indicates what the invoice is for. In this case is a trial conversion, which we refer to as a trial upgrade.

(3) gives general information about our registration details, invoice terms & conditions, VAT, and other notes.

(4) if you click on 'share' you will be provided with a URL that you can pass on to whoever is in charge of payments, so they can access the invoice.

(5) you can click on 'pay' to pay by card or access our bank details or address for BACS and cheque payments.

(6) allows you to export a PDF copy so you can print it out.

(7) makes it easier for you to contact us if you have any doubts, queries, or issues about your invoice.

(8) will show you any other invoices that might be linked to the email address the account is registered under.

Via the setting's registered Foundation Stage Forum (FSF) account:

The FSF is an online community and support network for all those with a professional interest in the early years. A full FSF account will allow you to participate in the forum by either contributing to existing threads or starting your own. You can also find various resources, articles and courses that might be of interest to you as a practitioner.

You can also access tutorials for Tapestry from there and it is where you will manage your invoices from. Precisely because of this, in order to have a Tapestry account, all settings or organisations must have an FSF account. This FSF membership is already included within the Tapestry fee, and is automatically set up when a setting takes up on a Tapestry subscription or trial account.

The FSF associated email we have on record will receive all invoice notifications, and will be able to log in to the FSF account and access, amend, download and make payment for these directly from the FSF. This email address is the one used when the trial account was requested or the subscription was bought.

The FSF account is accessed from www.eyfs.info

To access your invoice, you will need to log in first of all. If you don't remember or don't know your FSF account details, you can reset your password by:

1. Going to https://eyfs.info/lostpassword/
2. Entering your email address in the empty field and clicking 'Recover Password'
3. Checking your email (you may have to look in your spam/junk mail) - you will receive an email called "Action required to reset your password"
4. Clicking the "Reset my password" button in the email to set your new password
5. Filling in a new password on the form and clicking "Save"

Once logged in, click on your profile's drop down menu (1) > My Invoices and Purchases (2).

Once here, click on 'Pay Now' by the corresponding invoice and then follow all further steps.

Via Tapestry.

If your trial account is still active you will be able to access, download, share and pay for the invoice online!

For that, simply log in to your trial > then click on control panel > overview > view and pay your invoices. This will take you to the same invoice screen that we showed you in the point 'paying via the invoice notification email' above.
