His new remit will see him additionally responsible for vulnerable children and families. Mr Goodwill has previously worked as a minister in the department for transport and also has also served as government whip with responsibility for HM Treasury and the Department for Food & Rural Affairs. You can read all about him here: Robert Goodwill As we announced on Monday, the Foundation Stage Forum is part of the new APPG for childcare and early years and so we are looking forward to working with the new minister to ensure that the views of our forum members are shared.
