Parent notifications

Hi Emma,

When someone has their notifications set to be sent out daily or weekly, they are sent out early in the morning whilst Tapestry is the least busy. This is because we send out thousands of emails a day and if those were to all go out when Tapestry is busy, you might experience the service slowing down.

I'm afraid it's not possible for you to change the time that those notifications are sent, but if the relatives change their notification preferences to 'immediately' then the messages will go as soon as you add the new observation or comment.

 

I am sorry to hear they've been woken up by the notifications though.

 

I'm not sure if this would be appropriate for any of them, but I have my phone set to do not disturb at night, but so that certain numbers can still get through in case there is an emergency. Maybe that is something they could consider? I also know that you can change your preferences on a lot of devices so that you get a different type of notification for different types of contact - perhaps they could set emails to silent?
