What i mean is that i often work on my browser (not app) but if i try to add a profile picture it asks me to browse from my laptop...i dont download the photos to my laptop generally so how can i pick up a photo from the childs learning journal??

Not sure what you mean by working on your browser. I work off my ipad and upload child's picture from photo library. Very easy. Once uploaded, I delete the picture.

RE: SALT, I personally don't put them as SEN as sometimes in our experience it has been a confidence issue, but you know your children and families. They are all individual as we know. On the other hand, I've had autistic children, whose parents only want to consider Speech and Language delay, so it's tricky.

Thanks for the reply...what I mean is that I work on my computer at home not on my tablet which stays at work therefore I only have the photos I have used for obs,,,,

Can the parents see that you've put them as sen though? Ive just put 2 on sen but they don't have a diagnosis yet and I don't want to upset the parents!

I would make yourself a parent of a child (ficticious) and check what you can see. If the children are receiving support, I don't see why you can't add it.

I don't think you can add a profile picture from the obs as they need to be uploaded.....but then I'm not that techy!

Underneath the photos on the observations there is some text with a link which says "download these photos and videos". If you click that you'll get a popup with download links for the photos. You can use these to download the ones you want, then upload them as profile photos and delete the copies on your computer.
