Lovely things that parents say

I just want to share something that a parent, who looked around my setting, emailed me. The parent was torn between my setting and another setting. The comments were lovely and reminded me why I do this job. Does anyone else have comments they would like to share so it makes us all realise what a fabulous job we do.

Hi Carol,

Thank you for taking the time to show us round on Tuesday. You have a lovely nursery, we were very impressed and you gave us a lovely welcome.

Having talked it through with my husband and sister (a reception teacher) and after the point which you very honestly made about continuity and getting to know her peers ready for school, we have decided to send her to the nursery at xxxxxx as that is the school we would like her to go to.

Thank you for your honesty, I appreciate the fact that you were upfront and it shows that you truly have the children's well being as your number one priority.

After what we saw on Tuesday and our interaction with yourself I will definitely be recommending your nursery to other mums looking for places in the area.

Thank you so much for your time and help,

Kind Regards,

Laura

How lovely, too often we get hung up on the negative....

This was a recent email from a new family that have joined us recently, these are the comments we need to hold on to!

I have add as I know sometimes a bit of recognition is nice... xxx has really settled into busy bees now and I'm really happy with the care she receives in ladybirds, all of the girls (particularly Sally, kelli & Amy.k who are our favourites!) Already feel like family :)
