louby loo Posted February 17, 2017 Share Posted February 17, 2017 Well, the chocolate 'Father Christmas' that had a 'product recall' but has been left on the side since Christmas got it yesterday .... I figured at my age I could see if someone had put button batteries in it- so I ate it. That said there must be some very sick people around that could actually do a thing like that to what is in affect 'children's chocolate' I saw that they have also recalled the chocolate Easter Bunnies for the same reason. We are considering whether any action needs to be taken for the use of the 'E' word as that holiday is currently 8 weeks away and therefore panic buying of chocolate products has not yet begun. At the risk of incurring aforementioned wrath - I am of the opinion that pancakes are actually just a normal pudding for those moments when you really need a pudding, a piece of fruit just won't do, it's too cold/wet/you're too lazy to go out the shop and the only ingredients you have in the house will only make a pancake. I had some for pudding at the weekend and very occasionally have them for breakfast! Please, can I keep up with these practices? (am now also pondering other puddings - pumpkin pie, panettone) is there a definitive list of which may be considered celebratory in a festival related sense?
