Some of my key children are attempting to write words/sentences which are phonetically sounded (independently!) what would you recommend these children's next steps included the children are leaving soon before they start school in September.

So we are talking 4 year olds - I would just keep encouraging to do more of the same, but for differing reasons - a thank you note, a goodbye note, a note to new comers coming into your setting, - just find lots of reasons for them to practice,
