Then I could tailor it to ages and understanding. I used to do it before Palm Sunday and give each child a palm cross to take home. lashes2508 Posted March 30, 2015 Share Posted March 30, 2015 (edited) There is lovely example in sand on video on c beebies site , other than that I used my own words and this led to a really good discussion on death and more, important to explain that when someone dies they do not come back to life like Jesus did ! green hippo Posted March 30, 2015 Share Posted March 30, 2015 There is an absolutely beautiful book called 'Easter Bunny's Amazing Day' which is the most sympathetic way of teaching the story of Easter to very young children that I have ever read. I got it from church but you can buy it on Amazon. Might be too late this year but worth a thought for next year.
