I think there is a product which soaks up the liquid, but does not rot etc. Think it might be called something like perma mat, although I may have got that wrong. Inge Posted January 28, 2015 Share Posted January 28, 2015 a mop ... we had a hard floor and over years I tried many solutions.. most became a trip hazard, took ages to dry and were a real pain - so I decided to try without anything.. Just a microfibre mop with a handle that could be extended or made small.. think it was a vileda one but the important thing was the handle could be made to a length suitable for a child ..result was a dryer floor as less got dropped on it, because there was nothing to catch it.. . and children used the mop to dry the floor when they needed.. it was surprising how little water did get dropped or spread.. I always wanted one of those beware wet floor signs to put out near the water tray but never found one - thought it ould be good for them to learn and recognise the hazard warning sign. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest Posted February 22, 2015 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Hi we are in a hall that has carpet which they are very protective over..we therefore have 3 lots of lino which we roll out each day that goes under the messy play, painting table and sand and water tray.
