Parent questionaires

Recommended Posts

I send out questionaires yearly for parents and children to complete. There is a space for name on the bottom. As not many are returned I am wondering whether I should just let them be returned anonymously. What do you think?

I am just about to send another one in the next day or so.

Hi. Thanks for your replies. I put strongly agree/agree and disagree and strongly disagree as well Sooty and I will put what you suggested mrsbat at the bottom - "only complete your name if you would like a personal response"

thanks again

A suggestions for improving practice box is useful ...our last survey included a bigger cloakroom and wider pavement ....I'll just be getting the builders in then :D

Yes, we have a suggestions box available all the time too - not that anyone has ever used it except for posting their completed questionnaires!

Just sent out our first questionnaire - giving parents choice of being anonymous.

I have introduced a Comments and suggestions book rather than suggestions box and found we have now got evidence of positive feedback from parents and professionals, this is alongside the one suggestion! - hoping will be good for OFSTED as waiting first inspection!

Ditto - use survey monkey and some id themselves by using children's name but otherwise anonymous. First time had better response rate than second, like the idea of resending a few days later. Must admit myself, despite meaning to, I tend not to act upon things until I have reminder!
