Do you love spending time with pre-school aged children?

Do you enjoy working and playing outdoors?

Are you energetic, enthusiastic and open to new ways of working?

Can you communicate easily with children, families and co-workers?

Then we would love to hear from you! Most importantly of all, our staff help our children to feel loved and happy in themselves – and to embrace the joy in daily life. If this sounds like you, please get in touch.

Part-time Pre-school Assistant (£6.50 per hour)

Part-time Pre-school Deputy Supervisor (£7.50-8.00 per hour)

Fixed term contracts ending 24th July 2015.

Grindleford and Eyam Playgroup is a friendly, flourishing Peak village pre-school with a forward-thinking, unhurried and playful approach to learning. We run a popular Forest School in nearby woodland and have a local allotment. Our numbers are growing rapidly so we are looking for qualified early years professionals to join our team.

We are open Mon 9.30-12.30, Tues 9.00-3.00, Weds 9.00-3.00 and Fri 9.30-1.30. Working hours will include between one and three of these sessions and will include setting up/packing away time in addition. There is the possibility of discounted childcare fees for the right candidate and we will consider flexible working hours and job shares.

To apply for these posts you will also need:

  • experience of providing high quality childcare
  • a minimum of NVQ level 3 childcare qualification or other relevant qualification

Are you qualified? Check whether your qualifications count towards this job by going to www.education.gov.uk/eypqd/qualification-search.aspx

If you want to know more, contact our Supervisor, Becca Stephenson, on 07812 425561 or email recruitmentatgep@gmail.com. Don’t forget to take a look at our website (www.grindlefordandeyamplaygroup.org.uk), too!

Closing date for applications: Monday 8th December 2014
