our children really seem to have a liking for bear hunt story so we thought we would plan around this for the next few weeks (or however long there interests go)- has anyone any ideas / sites that give ideas on this book that would evolve over the weeks if needed

many thanks x

We made zip lock bags filled with mud (soil, water, salt, small amount of oil so it oozes better) , water( blue hair gel bit glitter), snow (shredded tissue , snowflake sequins, frost glitter) grass(differing shades of green tissue and red and yellow flowers) couldn't represent the wind if you have ideas for this would love to know them. We had pics of the sequence of the story, the sound sequences splish splosh etc to match up and the characters on sticks. Got the idea from pinterest it was a winner , all the children found something to work at for each of their differing levels of ability, it is a good adult led activity and an independent one. They didn't get fed up their interest just evolved it is a most brilliant story to work with.

for wind we had a small fan clipped onto the table , could use a cheap hand one too.. ours extended this themselves by using different things to see if the fan would blow them off the table.. spend ages doing this.
