Moorside Posted June 20, 2014 Share Posted June 20, 2014 Hi All I have a new job for Sept and have just found out due to a change in organisation I will have a mixed FS year1 class. There will also be some year 1 children in a mixed year 1/2 class. The children are mostly at expected and it has been made clear they are to access a year 1 curriculum in line with the other 15 year 1 children. The two classrooms are set up very differently. My new classroom is small with only two tables but lovely well resourced clear areas within the environment with access to a small outdoor area. I will have a TA in the morning. I would be very grateful for any advice on how people have managed planning for the two curriculums and I am concerned about providing for able year 1 children while settling new FS.
