Just reading Nursery World article and read this

"From this September, Ofsted for the first time is finding out what qualifications staff in nurseries have and then we're going to be looking at the outcomes they achieve and I think that's the way we should be doing it.'"

What does this relate too?

Well I read that to mean that Ofsted will be compiling data on settings relating inspection outcomes to the level of qualification held by the highest qualified practitioner employed. So no pressure then!

Of course that's just my interpretation - maybe the Ofsted inspectors among us have some knowledge to share? :1b

Taken from the Early years report template (near the bottom of page 3)

"the number of staff and a brief overview of their qualifications, including any who have
early years professional status or qualified teacher status"
Full early years report template available from:

Jeez I hope not. I'm the EYP in our room at our setting and I've got enough pressure as it is!!
