Wanted! Your favourite books about journeys

The Train Ride. It's a simple story but it's written in the rhythm of a moving train, so you can read it in that rhythm, speeding up and slowing down. It's really clever, but I don't think I've described it very well!

I like this book but my staff hate it - every time I put it in the book case it mysteriously seems to walk away and jump in the storage boxes we keep them in :(

i love that on too.

also bear in the cave which is all about a bears journey from the seaside to the city and back again - if you can get it on cd it is even better - in fact its fantastic

I was just coming on here to add that one to this thread. There's a signed version read by Michael Rosen so you get all the rhythms right here.
