Hi I'm in the process of undertaking a policy update and am going to link all policies in with the EYFS under the themes and committments. Can anyone tell me if there is an updated version (2012/13) of the Themes and Committments? The only one I have found so far is the one with the four headings at the top and then 1.1 to 4.4. Hope this makes sense! Thank you :-)

Hi terrykirsty5

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on making your first post ::1a

Please excuse my lack of knowledge but is the document you refer to just a West Sussex one?

I look forward to hearing from you so we can try and get you some help.

Thank you! I think this document is used over the whole country. I just want to be sure that I have the updated version of the EYFS and particularly the Themes and Commitments bit. Thank you.

Ok, well in that case I am going to move your post to the wider forum area so hopefully you will get some help and advice.

Do you have a copy of the Development Matters document? The revised guidance still refers to the four themes and principles, but the term "commitments" no longer appears.....at least I haven't found it! The information you need is on page 2. :1b
