Is it me being really silly, should it say "keep trying" as opposed to "keeping trying", just doesn't sit right with me. Any thoughts.:)

Maybe it's because it 'matches' with finding, playing, enjoying etc. They could have been written as "Enjoys achieving...", "Finds out and explores", "Has their own ideas" and so on but in some situations that might imply a one off incidence?

I think I more naturally would say 'Keeps trying' but it doesn't jar too much for me to have keeping.
