Spring Or Easter Poem

Hi

Does anyone have any ideas of a poem suitable for Year 2 children to recite at our Easter Church service? It doesn't have to be religious but preferable that it relates to Easter or Spring.

I am stumped for ideas and am running out of time!

Have trawled through google but not finding anything

Please help!!

Is this any good?

I like this one....can just see little children doing actions!

My Spring Garden

Here is my little garden,

Some seeds I'm going to sow.

Here is my rake to rake the ground,

Here is my handy hoe.

Here is the big, round yellow sun;

The sun warms everything.

Here are the rain clouds in the sky;

The birds will start to sing.

Little plants will wake up soon,

And lift their sleepy heads;

Little plants will grow and grow

In their little, warm earth beds.

That's a lovely poem. I'm going on a spring walk with my Reception class this week. We're reading 'Daffadowndilly' by A.A.Milne to them and 'Leisure' by William Henry Davies. Then we shall run through the grass into the wind and talk about how it makes us feel etc etc

Thanks for ideas we ended up doing 'Caterpillar crawled' which tied in will with our song 'Eggs in a cluster, yellow as a duster!'
