We are very lucky, in Kent we have a Discovery Bus which comes to the setting and it is decorated inside like a jungle with lots and lots of jungle activities to do. the children have adored its visits and it costs nothing!!!

 

Back at the pre-school, we have a double silk black sheet (don't ask, previous assistant - say no more) which we suspend with bulldog clips in an area near the climbing frame, we deck that out with stuffed animals, binoculars etc. pith helmet, compass. we have jungle songs, like Down in the jungle where nobody goes there's a great big .............. washing his clothes, we sing the Jungle Boogie song and actions.
