Tractor Songs

I have a parent that would like to learn a tractor song at our children centre baby group.

Does anyone have any ideas, as the child's grandparents are arable farmers, so animals are not of interest.

have tried a search on the forum and don't seem to find anything

Bouncing up and down on a big red tractor

Bouncing up and down on a big red tractor

Bouncing up and down on a big red tractor

All the day long.

I can't remember what the tune is though-I will have a think and let you know if comes to mind.

Found this:-

Tractors, Tractors (Music: "Daisy, Daisy")

Tractors, tractors, tractors help farmers work.

They pull plows that break up the clumps of dirt.

The farmer can work much faster

Because he has a tractor.

There's lots to do the whole year through.

Tractors help farmers do the work.

driving around in my little red tractor

Im a farmers boy

then the child told us what they did on the farm and what they used and this was incorporated in to the e.g.

John Brown's tractor has a puncture in his tyre...

ask for ideas for parts of the tractor and what could be wrong with them (keep a record to sing again :o )

John Browns tractor had a radio in the cab, a seagull on the roof, a big and little tyre,

WHEELS ON THE TRACTOR

The wheels on the tractor go round and round

Round and round, round and round

The wheels on the tractor go round and round

All day long

The horn on the tractor goes beep beep beep

Beep beep beep, beep beep beep

The horn on the tractor goes beep beep beep

All day long

The wipers on the tractor go swish swish swish

Swish swish swish, swish swish swish

The wipers on the tractor go swish, swish, swish

All day long

The engine on the tractor goes brmm brmm brmm

Brmm brmm brmm, brmm brmm brmm

The engine on the tractor goes brmm brmm brmm

All day long

The farmer on the tractor says, “There's lots of work to do”

“Lots of work to do,” “lots of work to do”

The farmer on the tractor says, “There's lots of work to do”

All day long

The wheels on the tractor go round and round

Round and round, round and round

The wheels on the tractor go round and round

All day long

TRACTORS DRIVING TWO BY TWO

The tractors were driving two by two, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving two by two, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving two by two

Some were red, the others were blue

And they all went driving back to the farm again

The tractors were driving three by three, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving three by three, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving three by three

They ploughed the fields so easily

And they all went driving back to the farm again

The tractors were driving four by four, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving four by four, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving four by four

Can everyone hear their engine’s roar?

And they all went driving back to the farm again

The tractors were driving five by five, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving five by five, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving five by five

The farmers cheer when they arrive

And they all went driving back to the farm again

The tractors were driving six by six, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving six by six, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving six by six

The little one started doing its tricks

And they all went driving back to the farm again

The tractors were driving seven by seven, hurrah hurrah

The tractors went driving seven by seven, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving seven by seven

The red one thought it was going to heaven

And they all went driving back to the farm again

The tractors were driving eight by eight, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving eight by eight, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving eight by eight

The one at the back was almost late

And they all went driving back to the farm again

The tractors were driving nine by nine, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving nine by nine, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving nine by nine,

They beeped their horns and drove in a line

And they all went driving back to the farm again

The tractors were driving ten by ten, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving ten by ten, hurrah hurrah

The tractors were driving ten by ten

Across the fields and back again

And they all went driving back to the farm again
