Hi first time i've actually posted so here goes

Hope someone can help applying for a job as a Teaching Assistant - a temporary position for 12 months.

In letter of application they want me to say how i see this role developing
any ideas.

The have inserted a job description and everytime i go to put something on paper i feel that i'm just repeating the description.

Thanks laugh.gif

Hi Karen,
I love it when someone who has been a member for a long time decides to post; thank you biggrin.gif

Have you been a TA before? If so, is this job for the same age group?

In terms of where the job could take you, you could consider these:

* Specialism (through further training) in a particular age group, SEN, or an area of the curriculum that you are particularly interested in
* Teacher training
* Taking a large part in observing the children and recording significant achievements; ie working closely with the teacher to provide accurate information to parents about children's levels of development, knowledge and skills

I'm sure other members will have more ideas smile.gif
