So...have decided to apply for the role of moderator for my local LEA. Just sitting here trying to write my letter of application. Well struggling to write it really... I'm rubbish at 'bigging' myself up! Has anyone else applied for this role? If so can you give me any tips etc? What will they be looking for?
Thanks.
Someone with experience of profile and who recognises and understands how the points can be met?
Knowledge and understanding of EYFSP - it's principles and how to apply them, and it's primary purposes
Capacity to challenge and ask probing questions
Knowledge and understanding of quality assurance processes
Good interpersonal skills - being able to actively listen
Ability to give clear feedback to a range of audiences
Understanding of the moderation cycle of EYFSP
It's use in transition
Can't recall what else but these were the things we were assessed on for the accreditation.
