I love the picture book - "winter" by Gerda Muller
Diamond in the Snow - a lovely book about a mole who tries to take a "diamond" home (an icicle)
There's a lovely poem by Shirley Hughes in the rhymes for Annie Rose book "We went out and in the night, all the world had turned to white...."

'A little bit of winter' by Paul Stewart about remembering and friendship and hibernating. Love it!!
