I'm wondering if anyone is familar with the transitional units and how other colleges and assessors deliver these

well i am having to go on another course to be able to assess these. Lucky so far that students have not opted for them :-)

unsure.gif sorry if I'm being a bit dim here.......it is Sunday morning & I've only been back a week from my hols but not sure what you are asking here! Could you explain what the 'transitional units' are please.....Mrsb

Transitional units are for those who already have NVQ in either early years or playwork and want to also have the qualification in the other area. I have only had a quick skim of the course guidelines but for example students who already have NVQ in playwork need to do 2 further units:
1. childhood development birth - 4
2. aspects of early years practice

both units suggest 30 guided hours I think they are the titles of the units but like i said only had a quick look as my college is delivering them next month and a colleague asked my opinion
