Hi
I want to paint with a one yr old and want to know are there any 'safe' paints I can use?

have you tried mixing baby rice with food colouring ...then she can munch away at it at the same time

Puree sweet potato, broccoli etc and she can have some great finger painting experiences
The nice thing about living in a small village is that when you don't know what you're doing -someone else always does!

Flour and water paste with a little food colouring.

Speaking as a coeliac I'd be worried about using flour - just in case of a reaction
The nice thing about living in a small village is that when you don't know what you're doing -someone else always does!

Good point Cait. I'd only use it if the child was already eating wheat as part of his/her normal diet.
