Mark Making For Parents!

Before I write one myself, has anyone produced a handout for parents about mark-making? I want to cover things like what sorts of activities help to develop fine motor control, how to encourage an interest in writing, etc. etc.

 

Has anyone done something similar?

Yes, good idea Peggy.

 

It will be a very handy addition to the information we give to the parents with children starting school in September. Actually on thinking about it quite a few of the children with another year to go!

Definitely one to put in the pack to hand out to parents in September. There is so much more to mark making then just writing their names. Any more ideas for a Welcome pack for parents please?
