Hi -
To support the growing number of NVQ3 students and those considering beginning the NVQ3 who are members of the Foundation Stage Forum we have begun a series of articles which give both general and specific practical help with the course. Up till now we have just tried to help with specific questions when they're asked here, but it seemed that a permanently available aide to each element and unit would be a handy reference. So over the next few months we will grow this series until all units are tackled.
As ever, to complement this, please feel free to post queries or suggestions for improvement. Many members have been through the course and there are a growing number of NVQ assessors who come here regularly. We'll be happy to answer what questions we can!
To get the best from this section of the forum, please keep this points in mind:
* If you're having problems with a particular unit, read the appropriate article first.
* If things are still not clear, then do a forum search. The chances are that if you've had difficulties with a certain area, so have others, and there may already be a wealth of information in other threads.
* If this doesn't help with your particular query, then please post a question. Try to keep your post relatively concise, making it easy for members to give the exact information you need.
* Say what it is you already know regarding the answer to your question; this makes it easier for members to see where the gaps in your knowledge lie, and therefore how best they can help you.
* Don't forget that the NVQ is assessing YOUR knowledge and skills, not the members, so it would be unethical for us to do your NVQ for you! We are, however, very willing and very able to point you in the right direction.
